Take care not to let the foam spread outside the original stain area.

Ammonia does a great job at removing blood stains but use it in moderation so you won t discolor the carpet if you use too much.
Hydrogen peroxide is a great solution for removing blood for carpets.
Gently blot until the liquid is completely absorbed.

It will react to the blood immediately and start foaming like crazy.
With some patience and the right tools you can definitely remove it.
Dab the area gently with a damp cloth and then absorb as much of the liquid as possible by blotting with a dry white cloth.
